At Armor Machining, a subdivision of Armor Contract Manufacturing, we specialize in precision turning for the most demanding projects. We have a variety of CNC and manual lathes, as well as Swiss turning machines, which gives us the flexibility to handle any type of project for our customers spanning many industries.

Maximum Workpiece Capacity: Our CNC turning machines handle diameters up to 24”. (Note: For larger projects up to 48” in diameter, see our Large Diameter Machining.)
Precision & Accuracy: We use CNC lathes to ensure precise and consistent machining. Additionally, we use CNC Swiss turning machines for precision machining of very small and complex parts. We can handle diameters as small as 0.125” and lengths as short as 0.032”. Our CNC lathes can perform multiple operations in a single setup, which increases efficiency and reduces the risk of errors. Our lathes are also equipped with advanced cutting tool packages and control systems that allow us to produce small to large parts with tight tolerances with the highest level of accuracy and precision.
Quality Control: Quality control is of the utmost importance at Armor Machining. We use precision measurement equipment to ensure that our parts meet the tightest tolerances. Our quality control processes ensure that all parts meet or exceed industry standards. Precision is confirmed by our fully calibrated coordinate measuring machines (CMM) that provide dimensional verification up to 20”x 27” of travel.
