Mill/Turn Equipment

At Armor Machining, a subdivision of Armor Contract Manufacturing, our highly skilled machinists have 6 CNC mill/turn machines at their disposal to complete a wide variety of prototyping, low-volume, or large-scale production projects for our customers. Our milling machines can handle turning diameters up to 14.75”, with a maximum workpiece weight of 4,000 lbs. This means that we can accommodate a wide range of sizes and materials, from small parts to large industrial components.

Our Mill/Turn Equipment

DOOSAN 220LSY: 5-axis CNC mill/turn machine equipped with a high-performance spindle that can reach speeds of up to 8,000 RPM and includes a high-speed control and advanced cutting tool packages. Maximum workpiece weight of 485 lbs.

 EMCO HT45 (HYPER TURN 45): CNC mill/turn machine equipped with a high-performance spindle that can reach speeds of up to 6,000 RPM and includes high-speed control and advanced cutting tool packages Maximum turning diameter 11.8”.

HAAS 3 (VF-3WSSAPC): CNC mill/turn machine equipped with a high-performance spindle that can reach speeds of up to 12,000 RPM and includes high-speed control and advanced cutting tool packages. Maximum workpiece weight of 4,000 lbs.

MAZAK MS18 (SA-20B): CNC mill/turn machine equipped with a high-performance spindle that can reach speeds of up to 6,000 RPM and includes high-speed control and advanced cutting tool packages. Maximum turning diameter of 11.8″, maximum cutting length of 20.47″.

 MAZAK MS-200: CNC mill/turn machine equipped with a high-performance spindle that can reach speeds of up to 12,000 RPM and includes high-speed control and advanced cutting tool packages. Maximum turning diameter of 14.75”, maximum turning length of 22.7”.

 OKUMA MX55 (MX55VB): CNC mill/turn machine equipped with a high-performance spindle that can reach speeds of up to 12,000 RPM and includes high-speed control and advanced cutting tool packages. Maximum workpiece weight of 1,540 lbs.
